Provides free home cleaning services to individuals and families going through difficult times. Their mission is to offer hope and support by creating a clean and peaceful environment, which can be especially important during challenging life circumstances. They primarily assist veterans, seniors, caretakers, cancer patients and survivors, and others dealing with health issues or grief. 

Lift the spirits of those suffering from, and ease the burden caused by, serious illness, injury, disability or trauma. To provide assistance and/or make distributions to or on behalf of qualifying individuals who are handicapped, disabled, terminally ill, severely injured or suffering from a serious medical condition, disease, or trauma. 

Uses the power of music to support and engage individuals on the autism spectrum. Through programs like open mics, live performances, DJ training, and drum circles, the organization fosters social connections, skill development, and emotional well-being. Their mission is to create a supportive community where music acts as a unifying and empowering force. 

 Variety Pittsburgh’s mission is to empower children with disabilities by providing life-changing adaptive equipment, such as bikes, strollers, and communication devices. These tools help children gain mobility, independence, and the ability to engage in typical childhood experiences, ensuring they are not excluded due to their disabilities​.

Located in the south/southwest region of Pittsburgh, the Autism Caring Center is dedicated to improving the quality of life for individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and their families. Founded in 2017, the center serves as a resource hub offering advocacy, training, support groups, and social opportunities.  

Our mission is to create social events in a fun and safe environment for these individuals and their families.  Our goal is to connect with as many families in our autism community as possible and to connect with other special needs organizations to provide these families the resources they need. 

 We are dedicated to meeting families' essential needs through celebration, recognition, and support. Our Birthdays, Babies, and Basic divisions provide positive social-emotional experiences, resource connections, essential material goods, and of course…cheer! 

 The Miracle League of the South Hills offers an inclusive baseball program for individuals with special needs, providing a safe and supportive environment where participants can learn, play, and enjoy baseball while building friendships and engaging with the community 

Hope Floats partners with high-quality swim schools to provide scholarships for swimming lessons for children living in poverty. Scholarships and tuition assistance is provided to children who might not otherwise be able to afford swim lessons. 

 Hope Grows is dedicated to supporting family caregivers by providing emotional and mental health services through a variety of programs, including therapeutic respite activities, counseling, and support groups. 

 The mission of Colby's Stars Foundation is to assist others in their battle against cancer. Selection of a recipient is based on the severity of his or her condition and/or necessity of financial assistance. 

Abram’s Nation has been honored for contributing to the special needs community with the innovation of The Safety Sleeper®, and philanthropy of Fund It Forward, the non-profit Rose created to help families get adaptive equipment not covered by insurance.
