Addy is an adorable 6-year-old with Kabucki Syndrome, a rare genetic disorder that affects many systems of the body. It is characterized by distinct facial features and developmental delay but can also cause weak muscle tone, seizures, eye problems, feeding difficulties, skeletal abnormalities and much more.
Addy already sleeps in an enclosure safety bed, but her bed has solid walls and poor ventilation. This causes her to become hot and wake up often. Overheating increases Addy’s risk for complications related to her Kabucki Syndrome.
The 4:12 Foundation has granted Addy Air Flow ventilation panels that will provide her a cooler place for a better and safer sleep!
