Paisley's Story

Paisley is a 7-year-old girl with vein of Galen malformation, Cerebral Palsy, Epilepsy, Hydrocephalus, Autism level 3 with severe language impairment, and Strabismus. She has undergone 5 brain surgeries, countless hospitalizations, ICU stays, dozens of MRI/CT/X ray scans, hundreds of IVs, feeding tubes, outpatient and inpatient therapies, and weekly in-home behavioral therapies.  

Paisley has significant sleep issues, including nighttime seizures. She is in need of a special bed - The Cubby Bed - which will monitor her via camera with sensors for movement, temperature and much more. This bed will provide Paisley security and comfort for better sleep. Most importantly, it will alert her parents of any seizures. Insurance has denied coverage of this bed despite her parents’ best efforts, including an appeal. 

The 4:12 Foundation granted Paisley a brand new Cubby Bed. This has provided immense relief and restful nights to Paisley and her family.
