1 John 4:12
The 4:12 Foundation was created at the end of 2020 with the mission: To share God’s love with others by providing financial support and opportunities to people facing adversity in our communities. To anyone going through a dark time, our desire is that our grants provide hope in a better tomorrow.
I was blessed to grow up in a home where my parents showed us what living for God should be about: loving Jesus and loving people.
There are many great charitable organizations, but we wanted to have an opportunity to provide immediate support to people when it is needed most, and to do so efficiently with minimal administrative costs. We can proudly say that 100% of your donations go directly to the grants we provide to our recipients.
I continue to be amazed with the resilience of our recipients and am thankful that we get to be a small part of helping them fight through very difficult situations. In less than 3 years of existence, we have provided over $100,000 of grants to 19 recipients, and I’m confident that we are just getting started.
We would never be able to accomplish our mission without the support of others, and we appreciate all the nominations and financial donations that we have received. As we work to grow our network of recipients and resources to support them, I hope that you will consider partnering with us in some way. Check out our stories to see what we have been able to do, and what we are working on next.
God Bless,
-Kyle, Founder

Living in Pittsburgh, known as the “City of Bridges,” we wanted to connect our 412-area code with the Bible verse, 1 John 4:12 which reads, “No one has ever seen God, but if we love one another, God lives in us, and His love is made complete in us.”
The bridge became the symbolic representation of our foundation because we want to be the bridge that helps people get to the other side of a difficult situation.
